Request refund

Creates a refund request for a specific PIX charge. This endpoint allows you to request full or partial refunds for paid PIX charges. The refund amount cannot exceed the original charge amount and must be processed according to PIX regulations.

Amount requested for refund. The sum of the values of all returns cannot exceed the total amount of the Pix.

Identifier of the charge being refunded

The optional description field determines a text to be presented to the payer containing information about the return. This text will be filled in, in pacs.004, by the recipient's PSP, in the Remittance Information field. The field size in pacs.004 is limited to 140 characters.
