Credit Card Transaction Error Codes

This page documents the possible error codes when processing a credit card transaction. Each error code has a description for diagnosis and problem resolution.

If an unexpected error occurs, it will be returned with code 9999. In these cases, it is recommended to contact technical support.

9003Contact your card center - Do not try again. Issuer policy.
9004Not authorized. Insufficient balance.
9005Contact your card center - Do not try again. Account closed.
9006Invalid request.
9007Not authorized. Contact the issuer.
9008Invalid amount.
9009Contact your card center. No payment guarantee.
9010Transaction not allowed - Do not try again. Lost card.
9011Card expired.
9012Contact your card center. Fraud suspicion.
9013Transaction not allowed for the card - Do not try again.
9014Transaction denied.
9015Contact your card center - Do not try again. Card lifecycle.
9016Check card data. Security violation.
9017Check card data. Invalid card.
9019Check card data. Card expired.
9020Amount below minimum configured for the channel. (R$ 5.00)
9025Not authorized. Restricted card.
9027Transaction not allowed - Do not try again. Invalid establishment.
9028Unable to retrieve plan for the purchase type sent.
9029Amount above maximum configured for the channel.
9030Transaction not allowed - Do not try again. Blocked card.
9031The card is expired.
9033Invalid card data - Do not try again. Invalid issuer.
9034Transaction not allowed - Do not try again. Retained card.
9035Transaction not allowed for the card - Do not try again. Transaction not allowed for the terminal.
9036Amount exceeded. Contact your card center. Limit exceeded.
9037Security violation.
9038Internal error processing transaction.
